Iron in LSA

Is there iron in LSA?

Yes, there is iron contained in LSA.

LSA is a blend of almonds, sunflower seeds and linseed.

There is approximately 1mg of iron per 20g of LSA.

The recommended intake of iron in Australia for adults ranges from 8mg for men to 18mg for women. It also increases in pregnant and lactating women, and can differ with age.

So adding a tablespoon or two of LSA to your morning cereal, smoothie or muffin mix can increase your iron intake, and help you reach your optimal iron level throughout the day.

LSA contains iron

I have LSA every day and I didn't know that it had iron in it. That's great, I am always trying to find foods that can increase my iron intake naturally. Now I can add LSA to my list!
