Psyllium for weight loss

What daily dosage of psyllium is recommended for weight loss?

Psyllium husk can aid in weight loss when taken before meals because it absorbs water, bulks up and becomes gel like. It can help to curb your appetite when taken 30 minutes before a meal.

It is best to start at a low dose, preferably half a teaspoon in water before meals, building up to 1 to 2 teaspoons. Don't forget to make sure you drink extra water throughout the day to ensure the psyllium moves through the colon with ease.

If you experience any bloating or discomfort, decrease your dose. Remember this is only a guide, and everyone is different.

You can use psyllium on its own or you can use our Be Slim which also contains psyllium husk.

Psyllium husk works in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet and exercise.
