Rice Bran Recipes
We have a variety of rice bran recipes here, using both Energy Fields Rice Bran Granules and our Rice Bran Flakes These recipes using rice bran are high fibre and have all the benefits of rice bran. They are great for school lunches and for healthy snacks for the whole family.
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup raw almonds, chopped
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp honey
1/2 cup dates, chopped
1/4 tsp ginger
Melt butter, honey, dates and ginger in saucepan.
Add to dry ingredients.
Press firmly into shallow 20cm x 30cm lined tin and refrigerate.
1/2 cup wholemeal self raising flour
1 cup Energy Fields Rice Bran Granules
1/3 cup raw sugar
1/3 cup light olive oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup buttermilk
2 pears, chopped
2/3 cup dates
Preheat oven to 180C.
Combine all dry ingredients and then stir in fruit.
Combine egg, buttermilk, vanilla essence and oil in seperate bowl.
Blend wet and dry ingredients together.
Spoon into greased muffin tin and bake for 30 minutes.
